What is the best advice you can give someone starting out on their weight loss Journey?

It comes down to cico. People would save themselves a lot of time and frustration if they realized weight loss comes down to calories.0

Be realistic and accountable and realistic - it takes time and you still have to live and socialise. I make mini goals rather than my optimum goal weight - it makes it more manageable - good luck feel free to add me we can spur each other on x0

My golden rules:
(1) The number on the scale is not the sole judgment of success. Buy a tape measure and use it. (Or use motivational "skinny clothes.")
(2) Eat less than you burn.
(3) You will fail some days. That's ok. Try again tomorrow. If you fail again, fail better.0 -

Take measurements and photos today.
Remember that this is a life style change, not a quick fix. Slow and steady.
Keep logging, even on the ugly days.0
