Hi everyone, for the past 25ish days I've been achieving my calorie intake goals and lost 3lbs and have been excercising by walking the dogs atleast 30 minutes a day. But every time I have gone on a diet I always seem to get stuck at 9st 12 :( (Im 5ft 2)
I'm still JUST BARELY on the unhealthy side of the bmi and another 5lbs should get me to my healthy bmi but after 10ish days my weight has gone unchanged, should I bump up the excercise? Thanks!

10 days is far too short a timeframe to be worrying about.

Assuming your logging is accurate I would just continue for a further 2/3 weeks, observing trends in weight, and then decrease calories if needed.

Those last five pounds are the hardest. Just be sure your logging is very very accurate.

Lower your sodium and do not eat food at home with HFCS. Introduce plain non-fat Greek yogurt with fresh fruit and a packet of stevia or trivia- no other sweeteners. At night you can have yogurt ice cream. It is low in fat. Lower your fat grams to no more than 30 per day most days. If you have to eat out put your food item in your fitness log before ordering to make sure you do not exceed fat or calories for the day - 1200 is a good number.

Bumping up your activity is a great way to help melt off those last 5 lbs. I bet your dogs would love 1.5h walks instead of 30m, and they'll be better behaved at home too.

We have a labrador/saluki cross (doggy sitting) who started with 30 min walks then 45 min mix walk/ run, then 45 min mostly jog. Today she completed 20kms mostly jogging alongside our bikes. Dogs are a distracting way of refocusing to help them get fit and accidentally increase my own exercise frequency and duration. Good luck and check out the blogs on plateaus they are real and require patience.

None of this has anything to do with anything. OP, just make sure you stay within your calorie goal and be patient. It might be slow, but you're getting there. If you want to bump up your exercise, it can't hurt.
