I sit all day long and exercise everyday for 1 hour

    Sedentary. And then log the exercise.

    Yep, I would go for BMR, sedentary, logging exercise.

    Lightly active involves getting up and moving around a few hours a day, moderately active is someone who has a job that keeps them on their feet all day, and very active is someone who is either an athlete who trains all day or a person who has a hard, laborious job (think farmer, carpenter, roofer who actually spends 8 hours laying shingles, bicycle cop, pro football player).

    If you are a desk jockey, you are sedentary.
