When I use the recommended goals I have 1200 calories. 55% carbs, 15% protein and 30% fat. Protein seems low. Any thoughts.

I'm guessing it's based on the government food recommendations. I find it far too low. Mine is 30 or 35%.0

Yes, it very well could be too low, especially if you are trying to build any muscle tone. Personally, I find that 40% protein is much better for me. I am more satisfied and satiated longer and have much more energy to do intense workouts. If I were you, I would google a website that explains metabolic typing, take a test to see which type you are, follow those ratios and see what happens.
p.s. If I eat as much as 55% carbs, I blow up like a hamster that was fed bread!:noway:0 -
