Hello everyone
I just finished my first day using MFP! I'm only trying to lose around 10 pounds, but I'm terrible at keeping track of calories so I've been "trying" to lose them for quite a while now. I decided it was time to get serious about it. Hopefully I'll meet my goal just in time to break out the heavy coats and baggy sweaters (oops... haha!). This looks like a great community, good luck to everyone!

Welcome to MFP and congratulations on finishing day 1
As time goes on, you'll get used to tracking and you'll generally get a 'feel' for your calories too. Don't give up and if you can weigh your food, then I definitely suggest doing so! I've got 7 lbs to go so we need to really tighten up the logging and tracking to make sure we get there but we can! Wishing you the best of luck!0 -
