Anyone else have a easier time losing weight in the winter?

Just curious, is anyone else like me? I can't stand being hot and hungry. But in the winter I can drink tea and have broth and I don't really mind the hungry feeling at all, plus when I'm cold I'll get up and run up and down the stairs or something. Now, I'm not asking for advise, (I know I drink to much, eat the wrong food some people tell me IF is wrong) I'm within ten pounds of goal so I don't care if I've only maintained all summer. I just wondering if anyone else is like me and puts off losing until the chillier weather comes. I have people tell me they can't lose in the winter because the warm comfort food is their downfall.

I did when I was heavier, but with less to lose these past two years of bouncing up and down the scales, I think my body wants to go into 'gain fat to stay warm and hibernate' mode. That is offset a little by how much I love exercising in cold weather. I hate being hot and sweaty when I ride my bike or run, I'd rather deal with windburn on my face and ice boogers!

Early Spring is the absolute worst for me, though. I always get so hungry!

I find it easier to exercise in winter. It gets SO hot and humid here, just breathing the air is work. Did I mention my gym isn't air conditioned?

And summer is gin and tonic weather. On the flip side, sometimes it's so hot that I just lose my appetite.

I haven't figured out why, but for me the big losses almost always start in mid-summer. I just seem to get that kick of motivation in July/August timeframe.
