I exported my weighins from mfp and i thought maybe it'd be interesting for others to tangibly see how i progressed from 285 to 192. there are gaps in it, seemingly when i was static or failing (or i didn't even track in mfp until 2012), and even a period where i got down to 220 only to balloon back up to 265.

so maybe this is interesting, maybe dumb ha.

Yeah that's really cool man, I was thinking of doing the same. I think it helps people to kinda see it in action and how losing weight can really work. Before and after it's great but it can seem like magic.

I've noticed my weight doesn't fluctuate much either now, even if I eat crap... But I notice in the gym and on the soccer field which is what motivates me to easy clean s much as I can.

Well done man, and thanks for sharing!

Cool. It's a nice reminder that we lose little by little, over time. Thanks for sharing.

brdnw First off - congratulations on your incredible success. It's easily one of the best transformations I have seen on here. I read in a different post about your diet. Do you prepare meals a few days in advanced or do you make them daily? Do or did you ever have a weekly cheat meal? Also do you feel you need to up your calories after getting down in lower body fat %? Thanks for any info.

@Will210 I don't prepare meals in advance. I would, but i live literally a 2 minute walk from my work to my apartment, so i always just go home for lunch and don't have any need to prepare in advance.

I do have weekly cheat meals...i don't specifically say X day i'm going to cheat...but i live with my girlfriend and sometimes we just want to go out or don't feel like making anything so we'll go to a restaurant or get takeout. I'm still very conscious when i do this to keep it in moderation....but never do i eat fast food. If i get bad calories in, i want it to be delicious food and not a bigmac. But when i was losing the bulk of my weight i rarely even had cheat meals, i was focused on the goal the entire time and i didn't want to set myself back..it was exciting losing 3-4lbs a week and i had no desire to slow that pace

as for upping my calories, so far i havn't i, probably eat between 1400-1800 daily and i'm pretty active. I lift every day, i'm in a sand volleyball league, an indoor volleyball leagues and a flag football league...so i'm sure i have days where i burn far more than i take in but i havn't seen a need to increase my calories especially as i'm still trying to get a bit leaner.

Congratulations. Interesting. I did mfp in 2012 from 275 to 232 then quit. it all plus some back. Started back this year at 285, down to under 225 now. The weight went back in easy, but off easy too once I cleaned up my act again. I'd actually like to taper my speed of loss averaging about 3 a week since May, but continue to below 200, who knows maybe even attain a "overweight" BMI..
