salads in a jar, can be prepared in advance, if good jars are used will keep all week in the fridge

    That is such a great tip! My lettuce always gets brown too quickly. Where do you get the jars?

    Walmart sells a variety of sizes of mason jars. I'd check dollar stores too...

    Yes that's a good idea! I've only made enough for about three days so haven't tested your week theory but I can say that the lettuce did last nicely a few days for me.
    Its easy, fast and a lot cheaper then buying pre packaged salads .
