Hi y'all! I'm trying so hard to eat clean, but there's only so much a girl can do! Any products that help you stick on track?! I'm loving pb2 right now thanks!

Eating clean is an arbitrary term which has differing definitions from different people. How do you define it?
It does nothing for weight loss.
Hit your micros. Hit your macros. Eat what you want.

What do mean by "clean"?0

Thanks! I like your calories are calories theory! I guess I mean by cheat clean foods that help with your cravings without actually being chocolate if that makes sense. Thanks for the response!0

If you are having a hard time eating "clean," then have some small portions (or just a true portion) of those "dirty" foods.
And don't buy in to marketing buzz words.0 -
You can eat chocolate. Make it fit in your food diary for the day.0

Stop trying to eat clean, it doesn't have any real meaning (you are chasing shadows, that's why it's so hard). Eat food you like, but try to have some fruit and vegetables every day.
Buy an electronic kitchen scale, and weigh everything and log it before you eat it.0 -
Thank you guys for the insight! So fits in my macros eat it?! Don't know why they make food such a taboo!0

I don't worry at all about eating clean. I only concern myself with making sure I eat at a deficit....the rest takes care of itself.
And I find it mind boggling that PB2 is used in the same sentence as someone who is a "clean eater." PB2 takes good natural peanut butter and processes the bejesus out of it to make it PB protein powder with no fat in it. It is the exact opposite of the most common definition of clean eating.
Totally get that! I just watch my fat and pb2 stats are better in my opinion for me!0 -

Hit your micros first, and then hit your macros.0 -
Well I don't know what your definition of "clean" is, but I'd be hard pressed to find one of the many different ones on here that would consider PB2, "clean".
Your subsequent response seems to indicate you consider anything that isn't chocolate to be clean?
What are your ultimate goals? As others have said, there's nothing wrong with any food, even chocolate, in moderation. If you are eating a primarily nutrient dense diet, focusing on foods that help you with macro and micro nutrients and are satiating, there's no reason to not fit in the foods you love, in moderation.
Also, this is just personal preference, but I hate the word 'cheat' almost as much as I hate the word 'clean' as it pertains to food and diet. Food is just food. It isn't clean or dirty, it isn't a cheat. It is food. Some foods are more nutrient dense than others. Some foods help meet your macro goals, micro goals, some just taste good and in moderation, will do you no harm (unless you have a medical reason to avoid them).0 -

Eating a higher ratio of protein to carbs helped with my cravings. So, meat.

Thanks!
I find that if I buy a better quality chocolate, the richer it is and I can just have a small portion to satisfy. I don't think anyone should give up the foods they love.0 -

Chocolate is my substitute for chocolate. Frozen bananas aren't ice cream to me.
Seriously, I've lost weight & re-gained it. I am eating real food this time, not substitutes. Maintenance means that I need to know how many calories are in that Snicker's bar. Because maintenance (for me, anyway) won't be zero Snicker's bars for the rest of my life.0 -
At first I thought this was going to be a thread about Quest since their advertisement tag line is Cheat Clean. It makes me face palm and hate their company a little bit every time I see it. But damn those bars and protein powders.....which btw....have nothing to do with the clean eating movement (which I think is derpy and full of diet fad)
Word for word, that's what I was thinking. Except for hating the company when I see "cheat clean".
So, OP, have a Quest bar! Muahahahahaha.

Small amounts of high quality chocolate eaten very slowly is my substitute for larger amounts of chocolate of dubious quality and actual chocolate content.
