It seems like every time I start making progress I start gaining weight instead of losing. I had lost almost 5 pounds and just weighed and have gained almost 3 back. I'm watching what I eat and have been under my calories and even been working out. Please anybody got some advice?

Watching what you eat is different then counting calories. How to do you calculate your calorie burns? You need to make diary public?

I usually do weigh my food when I cook. I have been watching what I eat and counting calories. I am going to open my diary now.

Not that time and I usually weigh every few days. When I was in my fitness class a couple years ago they had us weighing 2 times a week.

Checked a few days of your diary. I'm sure these are probably outliers (maybe? don't know!), but one day was all Burger King (breakfast, lunch, dinner) or DiGiorno's. Lots and lots of carbs, processed foods, and the sodium that comes with. I don't know, I know everyone says calories in, calories out (CICO) but one of the things that worked for me is working on reducing the processed stuff (mostly due to the high levels of sodium, which retains water in your body), and increasing the amount of lean protein and fresh vegetables. That (to me) had the effect of eating more quantity foods, more filling (fiber in veggies plus the satiety of protein) and more protein.

You diary is incomplete some days. You have homemade items, are they your recipes? Does not matter what you eat as long as you are eating less then you burn. Processed foods does not matter when trying to lose weight. Too many carbs does not matter when trying to lose weight.

You are not weighing all your food. You need to get a food scale. You have no idea how much you are really eating. Watch this video.
