Hi Everyone: I have had the myfitnesspal app on my phone for a few weeks, but just realized there is an internet site also! I like having the Internet site to support the phone app.
My 18 year old daughter is my inspiration to use this site. She used the app on her phone and lost 30 pounds as a senior in high school. She really did not even look heavy as she is about 5' 10" tall. She just finished her freshman year of college and she looks amazing, like a model.
My primary hurdle is my commuting and work schedule. I drive 1.5 hours each way to work and put in a pretty long day. I get up at 4:45 am and don't get home from work until 7:00 pm most nights. Trying to figure out how to fit in some exercise seems to be a major difficulty for me. I can get brief walks in at work, but because I am a manager of a radiology department, I have lots of meetings I must attend. While I can squeeze in a short walk sometimes at lunch time, I really cannot go out at lunch time and do a heavy workout. I'll just have to try to work in possibly 3 workouts a week, maybe one on the weekend and 2 during the week? Has anyone faced similar hurdles and overcome them?
I look forward to accessing this site on a regular basis. Like many of you I subscribed to WW for months and months and of late really have not had success. In addition, it is very difficult for me to make meetings due to getting out of work too late for most of them. So, I am excited to see how using myfitnesspal works for me.
