Are analog scales accurate? What scale should I go by?

I'm confused about my weight. At the gym there's a physician's scale, which is supposedly the most accurate. I weighed myself yesterday there at the gym and I was 123. I figured I was probably a little less (about a pound maybe) since I had already eaten a full three meals that day plus water. I'm visiting relatives today and staying in my vacation house which has a classic bathroom scale. According to that scale, I'm 120 pounds. Which one should I go by?

Did you weigh at same time, same clothes etc?
Both can make a difference, but I would trust the physician scale primarily0 -
Your weight varies by up to 5 pounds during the course of each day, stop trying to find the True Number.0

Just make sure you weigh yourself on the same scales in the same place at about the same time. That way the numbers will be consistant and you can go by that. Wether that is your true weight is almost impossible to tell as there are so many variables. Just use your weight as a guide0

Only weigh yourself first thing naked, before breakfast & after a poo.
Too may other thing that will change weight otherwise0
