im a vegan with one cheat day. i find it very difficult to have substantial meals while out and about during the day, particularly without a high carb or sugar content.
any tips?

Hi. When you say out and about I assume you mean you don't have access to a microwave or anything for lunch? If you do, let me know as I have a great recipe for a veggie/vegan chilli. I often make a batch of it and eat it over a few days. It's really tasty and you can have it with rice or just salad, in a wrap or whatever. It is veg heavy and contains lentils, bulgar wheat (a small amount) and kidney beans and is very filling and healthy. Never had it cold but it may still work. Where are you in the world? If you're in UK (I'm guessing not as profile pic looks sunny!!) then M&S do great salads, many of them vegan and filling. I live on M&S salads in the working week. Tasty, healthy and more affordable than the NHS canteen!0
