Confused about sugar intake?!?!

Please can anyone help?! I always seem to go over on my sugar intake. I know eating things like raisins and fruit are high in sugar but isn’t this good sugar? Should I be worried about how much sugar I consume and if so can you think of any better alternatives for me to try as I am always open for trying new foods.
I think my diary is open so please feel free to have a nosey. Any feedback good or bad would be gratefully appreciated.
I’m 20yrs 5Foot and weight 124lbs
Thank you :-) xxx

Do you have a medical reason to be tracking your sugar intake? Diabetes or something like that? Then don't track it, you'll only make yourself nuts. MFP's sugar limit is set based on the medical world's recommendation for ADDED sugars, not naturally occurring sugars. If you're adding a Tbsp of sugar to your grapefruit, that's what would count. It's added (duh ) but the sugar in the grapefruit itself? Fuhgeddaboutit.0

To be fair a lot of your sugar isn't from fruit - oats with golden syrup, chocolate, cake, sweets etc0 -
I had the same question glad to see it here. I know most of my sugar is not "added". I might add 1tbsp to my coffee in the morning now (I cut out the fat free coffee creamer), I always make sure the yogurt I eat that is fat free is the lowest sugar content I can find. On the odd occassioin I do have cake or icecream but on my days I don't do that my sugar is from blueberries, grapes etc.
I don't even drink juice any more due to the sugar content but noticed I always seem to go over.
Based on these answers tho I wont be too concerned.0
