Tired of being fat & tired

I just turned 57, married, retired military, & currently full time employed. I want to lose weight but have no energy to do so and no one to willing to help keep me on track. I have worked at it several times but get discouraged and quit after a few days. This may be my last attempt before I just say screw it. Any suggestions?

Never say "screw it". Set small goals, attainable goals so that you can build confidence and then feed off that. Find activities that keep you active AND that you enjoy (easier to stick with it).0

I posted my MFP basics a few days ago, trying to pay back to the community that helped me lose my weight last year. I am now below my goal weight, below my revised goal weight, and maintaining 2 pounds above my ultimate goal weight (which would put me at a BMI of 20) I hope it helps you! Don't get mired in the fads etc. Go with the basics first. http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10257474/starting-out-restarting-basics-inside#latest
