I want to start iifym and I'm vegetarian (no fish). I bought a little scale and right now I'm trying to figure out what should be my percentages/grams of each macro. I found two different sites and they're giving me different numbers... which should I choose? I'll be trying to work out 5x a week lifting and doing some sort of cardio when I do. My goal is weight/fat loss as I'm a little overweight and I really want to slim down.
I'm 5'8 and about 165 and 21yo also.

It's really personal preference beyond getting an optimal amount of protein (basically the "athletic" amount looks good for that) and the minimum fat (which both cover).

As you are a vegetarian who is quite active I'd not start too low carb, but if you are having trouble with hunger you could shift some carbs to fat, and similarly if you need more energy you could play around with adding more carbs.

The bottom one is actually similar to what I'd probably start with at that calorie level and your height, and then modify if necessary.

    Thanks, I'll do that then
