Another walking question.

I'm trying to walk 2 miles a day. I'm usually pushing my daughter in her wheelchair (about 150# total). My heart rate averages in the 130s. I can't seem to attain a pace faster than 2.5 MPH. Am I doing enough or is there something I need to add?

Are you doing enough for what? What are your goals? What makes you think you aren't doing enough?

My goals are general toning and weight loss.

Weight loss will be accomplished by a calorie deficit. Walking will help create a deficit and it will help increase your overall fitness, but it's unnecessary for weight loss. That isn't to say exercise isn't good for you - it's just not necessary. As for "toning," it doesn't really work that way. You'll see more muscle definition as you lose weight and if you want to maintain lean body mass while losing in a deficit, it is suggested that you lift heavy.
