Standing on the scale

I have been here before, but not for almost two years. Last time I tried to diet, things got very very very out of hand and I lost lots of weight very quickly. However, since then I have gained it all, and much much more, back. I know that I need a change, but I am so so so scared to stand on the scales and see that number. Has anybody got any advice?

Be brave! Bite the bullet & find out your measurements. Even take a photo if you can!
Because months down the line, following my gradual weight loss (Only done a month or so on MFP but months of work before hand), I really wish I knew for certain what my starting weight was, for my motivation (on those bad days) & so that I could tell others just how well I'm doing!0
