In putted my age, weight, height, sex and moderate exercise. It's given me a reading of 3568. Can someone please tell me something so I fully understand and don't go mad.
That means I burn 3568 calories per day? MFP has my daily consumption at 2040. If I eat 2040 I have a deficit of 1500 per day?
I'm going wrong somewhere in my understanding or am I right? Please explain in idiots terms so I can understand it!!
Ps sorry

Your BMR is around 2300 calories a day. That means that if you don't do much all day, just sit around and cook food and go to the bathroom and whatnot, you'll be burning about 2750 calories per day.
Exercise is on top of that. If you spend an hour on the treadmill, your TDEE that day will increase to around 3360. If you ate 2400 calories that day, you would be eating a 960 calorie deficit.0 -
So based on those figures with a calorie deficit of 960 a day equalling just under 7000 a week I should lose 1 1/2 ponds a week. Thanks again mate.0
