I use the map my run app to track my walks/runs and have it sync'd to MFP. I also wear a vivofit on days when I'm off work just to keep tabs on my number of steps. If I also sync that to MFP will it be double dipping burned calories? I am currently set to lightly active and average 15000 steps on days that I don't exercise. I am especially curious about days that I may not be as active - I have enabled negative calorie adjustments, but haven't sync'd in a long time.

I have the exact same question! Am we double dipping?

As long as you are not logging exercise in MFP, I don't think so. I have a Fitbit, and don't log exercise in MFP because the Fitbit has already accounted for it.

You should probably just sync the Vivofit and disconnect MapMyRun. The calorie estimates from MapMyRun are wildly inaccurate.

mapmyrun, walk etc can be sync'd into MFP so if you have that done yes you are.

I have mine sync'd to my jawbone so all it does is trackers on that.
