eating your recommended amount of calories

Anyone else finding it hard to eat all the recommended calories when you are logging your food...I feel like what I eat would be enough but I always have over 200 calories left or more

Nope. Even maintenance calories don't seem like enough for me.

    Are you weighing your food?

It will make a lot of difference. How can you know the amount of calories in your meat if you guess, or put it in a measuring cup? That is not how you measure solid food.

It can be difficult to get all the calories in when you're eating healthy food. It's so low-cal that sometimes you just get stuffed trying to eat it all.

If you're looking for a healthy way to add in extra calories, drink some juice! It won't fill you up, is healthy and loaded with calories. Breakfast cereals are also very high-cal. They're not the healthiest things around, but some have a good deal of iron. You can easily add some calories without getting too full there.

if you aren't weighing your food, you have no idea how many calories you are consuming. How can you say you are having trouble eating all the recommended calories? Weigh everything you are eating so you know your exact calories.
Also, if you are actually having trouble reaching calorie goals, add in more calorie dense foods. You don't have to stick to low-calorie foods to lose weight, you only have to keep your calories below your deficit.
