A lesson in patience... Sort of a NSV.

I just wrapped up week number two. After losing almost eleven pounds the first week, I spent the second week slowly gaining back two of those pounds. Despite more exercise, the same calorie restriction etc.
So I did some reading, and found that if you don't consume enough calories in a day, EVEN if you are overweight, the body will respond by storing MORE of what is eaten.
So I readjusted my fitness settings from losing 2 lbs. a week to losing 1 lb. a week. Low and behold, this morning I was heading back in the right direction.
I've been in or around health/fitness on and off my entire life. You'd think I'd know better than to try to rush this process. The weight will come off with time. I need to focus on eating clean and being healthy and moving more, for the sake of myself, my son and my future.
