Foundational Garmets

I was at a wedding last night and some things wearing bugging me. Ok, I'm going to say something that will probably not go over to well. I want to talk about the importance of proper foundational garments. Such as, if you are wearing a 20-30lb strapless wedding gown, you should be properly corseted (so you're not hiking your dress back over your boobs every five minutes), and wearing some kind of body shaper or at least a decent bra under form fitting dresses. I know the trend is more all natural, and NOBODY wears pantyhose or nylons anymore (I JUST gave mine up this year). Personally, I have worked WAY to hard getting into the best shape of my life to even for one second look like crap in formal wear, which is the one time you want to look your absolute best.

I can also say bad things about going barefoot, but know many people just don't have a problem with it. When your feet hurt, take off the damn shoes. However, they sell party shoes and even flipflops for a $1 so there's no reason to be barefoot especially when you are wearing a dress that probably costs a couple hundred dollars. (The mother of the bride walked into the reception wearing white Hanes socks, I kid you not, and the brides maids were outside smoking barefoot) I NEVER take my shoes off. I searched high and low to find shoes I can dance in all night. I Love my sexy strappy sandals with three inch square heel that I can wear with ANY dress and party all night.

I'm old fashioned maybe.
