Somewhat picky eater

Trying to eat healthier. I work at McDonald's so always surrounded by junk. Have a horrible sugar addiction. I also get tired of eating the same stuff all the time. So I'm trying to find ways to change it up.
I like strawberries, apples, oranges, grapes, lettuce, broccoli (covered in tons of cheese though), corn, carrots, beans, chicken, beef. I don't eat seafood. Don't like spicy stuff.
Any good ideas for switching things up? And also for quick, easy meals I can bring to work? I have access to microwave and can use ingredients we have already (tortillas, cheese, sauces, etc.)

Also, healthy desserts that will help satisfy my sugar cravings without eating a day's worth of calories.
Apple crisp with oats? Stuff like that maybe0 -
Hmm.. I'm not sure what to suggest, but I'm thinking maybe you should (if you're not already) log the foods you already eat just to get an idea of what your habits are. Then you could start to look for substitutes. For example, if you eat McDonald's french fries every day, start buying potatoes or frozen fries and cook them in the oven at home. Simple, small switches like that might be easier at first. Then you can start to explore and add other foods in. I tend to bring yogurt and granola a lot for work. I use Nature Valley dark chocolate and oats protein granola, and it's sweet. I tend not to avoid sweets and what a lot of people call junk. I just try to eat it in moderation, and I think that works best because then you don't feel deprived. I guess what I'm saying is that while it's good to cut back on unhealthy foods, I think completely cutting out foods you love just sets you up to fail. I'm not working with a lot of sleep here, so I hope there was something helpful in that and I wasn't just all over the place.0

first off- I also work in a restaurant, and I definitely take advantage of my free meal. I would recommend checking out the calorie counts on mcd's food, quite a bit of it is reasonable. If you are dead set on bring lunch, I would recommend simple stuff like sandwiches, canned soup, etc.0
