I purchased a lifetime membership by paying $600 upfront for 3 years then was promised I would be locked into a $30 a year for life to renew my contract. I went into the gym yesterday and they told me my dues were $124 now! There is a class action lawsuit forming join it if this has happenned to you as well.

My gym was just offering a 3 years for the price of 2. I didn't bite (if nothing else, what if I move within 3 years).
ETA: Good luck with the lawsuit.

Did you get it in writing? if so they should have to abid by the original contract.
