Need motivation to finally lose this weight.

Hello my name is Diana. I have been trying to lose weight for a long time. Commit for a while and don't see results and quit. I want to finally stick to something and see some results. Any advice would truly be appreciated and any motivation would be great.

    Hi and welcome to MFP!! Start logging everyday rain or shine. Get in the habit. this is a lifestyle not a diet. Set your weekly loss goal to 1 to 1.5 pounds per week and add a little exercise like walking to your routine. Exercise is not necessary but it makes you feel better. read this

    The biggest motivator I discovered is simply looking down at my belly. I measured it one day (around my navel at the widest part) and it was 52 inches! That scares the hell out of me and that's what set me off on this journey.

    When you realise your body is almost 4.5 FEET around it is a HUGE shock to the system (my wife is just over 5 feet tall for god sake).

    It's important to have a clear reason for changing your body and when you feel like giving up remember why you started in the first place. ;)

    I'll never forget the feeling when I realised how out of control my body was.
