One motivational tip to share?

Hi! First off, just wanted to send some positive energy to everyone out there looking to get fit. I'm tracking my calories and am finally seeing some results.

If I could share one tip to everyone, it would be to ensure you get enough calories. I am ashamed to admit that I wanted to lose weight fast and tried to starve myself. As that approach failed in under a week (blush), a girlfriend told me that your body will store more fat that way. Maybe everyone else knew that, but I didn't.

Anyone else have a tip to share? Also, looking for motivational friends out there. :)
