Fitbit help?!

Morning.
I am trying to decide if buying a Fitbit is a worthwhile investment. I am not sure which one to buy and there are so many out there that do so many different things.
I would like one to track my activity and to tell me roughly my TDEE, do they all do this? Can you see the data on an iPhone or must it be a laptop?
I am a primary school PE teacher and have a pedometer but it's not hugely accurate and I also go to the gym 4-5 times a week but I have a HRM for this, should I get the Fitbit with the HRM? Does this make it more accurate?
Any help or advice appreciated, want to make an investment in one but one that I will use and will be worth it.

I have the Fitbit Charge HR. I find that it does make things more accurate by having the heart rate monitor. You can download the Fitbit app right to your phone, and plus it will sync with MFP. Easy to use and maintain. Quick hint: Even though they say the Fitbit device is waterproof do not shower with it. For some reason that will make it stop holding a charge.0

I bought a Fitbit ChargeHR three days ago. I like it. I used to have a Garmin 405. On day 1, I wore both during a run & a walk to try to compare. Distance - about the same, Instantaneous HR - about the same when I checked (4-5 times during the run/walk), Avg HR for the work out, Calories burned - the Fitbit said about 3.5 times as many as the Garmin (must use way different estimation methods ?!?).
Either way, the Garmin is retired (it froze up again during the run test) and I've been wearing & using the Fitbit since Sunday afternoon. I really like not having to use a chest strap. The Fitbit Dashboard is cool.
Overall, pleased with the purchase.

Since you already have a HRM that you use for workouts, no need to get a fitbit HR unless you're unhappy with yours.
I have a fitbit Zip, which is the barebones model and yet it's fine for me. It tracks steps, calculates distance based on the stride length I put in at setup and estimates TDEE throughout the day based on how active I am. Since I manually log my workouts (interval training with resistance work in the "rest" periods) the TDEE gets adjusted accordingly. Other models track sleep quality (you hit a button to tell it you're going to bed and again when you wake up) and some track flights of stairs if you want motivation to take the stairs instead of elevators.0
