Hi everyone!
I'm a 20 year old Swedish student, studying for a master's degree in computer science. I'm 6'3 and my starting weight is 245 lbs or 111 kg, current weight around 235 or 106kg. I started out with MFP around 3 weeks ago and I'm so stoked that I finally got around do doing this and so far it has helped me out so much mentally as i can focus better and my confidence is increasing.
My current calorie limit is around 1500-1600 kcal and I live a mostly sedentary lifestyle with the ocational party.
From when I started out this journey I've found so many good ways of reducing the calories that I eat and stirfrying vegetables with a drizzle of asian style sauces (hoi-sin, teriyaki..) is the most delicious one yet and the most filling!
However since I am a student I'm a bit short on the economic side of this so I always have to be creative and try to eat seasonal food, like potatoes and other root vegetables in the fall.
I feel confident I'll reach my goal weight of 90-95 kilograms sooner or later. I'm not really in a rush but it feels good to be making constant progress, and I'll definitely add some form of exercise in the near future but I'm just trying to build up a solid routine and it would be sad if i fell off the wagon so to speak.
If anyone has any tips or recepies that are both delicious and sparse in kcal please write a comment below!
