So went on holiday got back 2.5 weeks ago and put 5lb on I'm absolutely devastated cause I've lost so much and 5lbs not a lot but I want to get back to how I was and no matter how good I am on diet and how much I exercise its not coming off can anyone help

    It has only been 2.5 weeks, give it time.
    TOM, water retention from the trip, excess salt, all kind of things could be delaying the loss, but basically it is too soon to see much movement on the scale.

    I usually give it 3 weeks post trip to decide if I really have put on weight, or whether my body is just dealing with the residue of travel.

    Thanks for replying! I'll leave it a bit longer! It's just cause I usually drop it so quickly and I haven't this time so I'm panicking!! Thanks again

    Oh, I find travel weight gain has a mind if its own. When I was away for a couple of months this spring I got home feeling really bloated, often happens to me. Over a week later I had a day where I just couldn't stop peeing. The bloat went and half my travel weight. The rest was gone a few weeks later.
    Once I was back in my regular routine everything fell into place relatively quickly.
