Would love some help and advice need to lose 30lbs

just wondering how much cardio I should being doing and how many times is it good to work out a week? Goal is to lose 30 pounds.

    Exercise for health, eat fewer calories than you burn to lose weight. Put your numbers into MFP. Realistic expectation is to lose .5-1 lbs a week Do not go below 1200 calories a day. If you do strength training 3 times a week you are more likely to loss mostly fat and less lean body mass. The amount of cardio is completely up to your preference, the more you do the more calories you can eat and still lose weight.     Just count your calories you eat/drink and the ones you burn. MFP does a great job of doing the calculations for you if you input your stats and then track your intake. For 30lbs lost, shoot for 1lb/week loss and then adjust it to 0.5 when you get to about 20lbs from your goal.
