My name is Chuck L. and I have lost 28 pounds with MyFitnessPal. I've found that logging my food and exercise is an easy, maintainable and effective way to lose weight. In the past if I gained weight (which was always) I'd start a running/athletic program and get rid of it. The problem was I'd get lazy, stop the running and regain all the weight plus a bunch. I was good for the short term but lousy in the long term. Now, at 74 I'm not that good at jogging. I'm on a 1930 calorie a day basic diet and it works like a champ. I have my occasional bad days but overall it's working well. I lose about 4 pounds a month regular as clockwork. I'd recommend it to anyone who asks.
