There are no "bad" foods, unless they're rotten. Eat what you like, that fits into your allotment.0

If you've managed to eat it, it is good0

I don't eat much pasta because I like quite hefty portions - I find Pasta has a lot of calories even in quite reasonable looking amounts! Always weigh your food. If it fits into your allowance, enjoy it!0

It is if you eat a lot of it. For me, I find pasta not to be worth its calories. Same with rice. I'd rather spend those calories on other food.0 -
I had quite a big portion but now I feel
Stuffed I won't eat till
Around 6ish at dinner time0 -
I married into an Italian American family, so plenty of pasta meals... I don't eat it like I used to! Have you tried barilla's protein plus? I like a small (2 dry oz) serving of that with meat bolognese for a high protein meal. And in an Italian restaurant I usually opt for a stuffed pasta like ravioli for more protein rich filling than dough. But that is only maybe twice a year! Calories!!! Baked spaghetti squash threads and steamed zucchini 'zoodles' cut with one of those ribbon mandolines make great pasta substitutes; for regular rice I prefer to substitute finely grated cauliflower 'rice.'0

If you make your own pasta sauce and control the portions, pasta doesn't have to be too bad for calories.
I eat pasta about two or three times a week, and I'm losing fast. I weigh the pasta and I use a simple sauce with lower calories. The carbs help replenish glycogen after exercise, and they are starchy so they release slower, so I'm not hungry quickly like I would be if I ate sugary carbs.0
