My legs and glutes hurt (I don't know why) I haven't exercised in a week because the last time I exercised my back started hurting really bad and so resting it seemed like the logical thing to do.
Well I'm ready to get back on but my legs and glutes hurt like I said, so should I exercise or keep resting?

Depends on what is hurting exactly??? Is it your muscles???
Sometimes, getting them going again, if it is muscle soreness will help alleviate the pain...
***Drink a ton of water!!!
***Static Stretch and/or Foam Roll!!! Not right before you're workout though, as you'll just waste energy.
***If your back hurts from Leg Day, start checking your form ASAP! Typically, you're doing something wrong if your back is hurting... Not always, but I'm guessing you're lower back is what hurts... in which case, start checking your form and learn to do the moves right or you'll cause serious injury in an attempt to be a stud and move a ton of weight! Correct is more important than speed or weight lifted.
You know your body... pay attention to it, and do what it's trying to tell you...
However, be honest in what it's saying, and don't use it as a reason to be lazy... you'll never achieve your goals that way...
Also recovery is uber important... Start doing research into all that that entails, if you haven't already.0
