Hi all! I just bought my wedding dress today for my July 2016 wedding! It's perfect. It's a size 16 and will need to be hemmed a little.
My goal is when it comes in this January that I will need to make plans to have it taken in. By January I plan to lose 15 more pounds and by July I plan to lose 30-40 pounds total

Just make sure that they can alter the dress enough to accommodate that kind of weight loss. When I bought mine, they told me they can generally only alter down two sizes without compromising the dress. There's really no physical way I could go down more than another size, because I have a rib cage, so I wasn't worried about it, but 30-40lbs is significant.0
