There are tons of us and we are dedicated and successful!
Started at 301 age 59. After 16 months, and my 60th bday, I've lost 112 lbs and only 39 from goal. I was diagnosed with dm2 just 2 weeks after starting my journey, but with better eating and exercise I was able to reverse it in a few months before doc put me on meds.

Not technically a senior but stick around a while and I will be LOL.

Started at 53 years old last year ago weighing in at 255 pounds, 105 pounds over where I should be. Within 10 months of starting I was down 79 pounds and went from unfit to extremely fit. Gone from pre-diabetic to having zero issues. No meds. Blood work... now perfect. BP from borderline needing meds to 116/67 yesterday. All I had to do was start... and I ask myself every day why I didn't start sooner.

Never too late, just get going.

It is a wonderful thing to realize that life chances can and will slow or halt type two diabetes. Mine went from 350 down to under a 100 not by medicine but by giving up the foods that were bad for me. thanks for the repy mwyrv and lorrpb
