    Nope, won't change a thing.
Rather, train your chest and shoulder muscles. If you fill out a bit more at the top you will look more balanced.

But generally, (weight) train all your muscles to reduce muscle mass loss as part of weight loss.
  • I already have broad shoulders tho.

Then are you sure you are not an hourglass?
Anyway, overall weightloss will reduce fat on the thighs, but if you are truly a pear, that might be the last place it will start coming off.
So basically, it will decrease as your total bodyfat decreases.

If you have broad shoulders you're probably not a Pear shape then.
Like me - if your shoulders are broader than your hips, you could be a Rectangle.
I wouldn't worry about it tbh.
Just concentrate on building muscle and staying healthy.
  • sorry guys. but those body shape calculators online say my body's pear shaped. so yeah...
  • hope you don't think i'm dumb

I think of a "lower body crisis" as a spinal cord injury or a cut femoral artery. ;)

Not any more than burning the same calories with upper body exercises, or from eating less.

    Any other Qs?
