Tips/Suggestions for Above Ground Pool Exercising?

I just got an above ground pool, 48 inches high, 12 feet across. I love water and I plan to be in it a ton this summer... but I was wondering are there any good exercises I can do in it to get the most of my time and help exercise?

I am looking online right now trying to find some things, but anyone have any tips/suggestions?

    It`s a bit small for swimming laps but you could jog around the perimeter (you`ll feel like a NASCAR driver after a little while :laugh: ) - the resistance of the water will give you a good workout.

    Here`s to hoping you have some summer weather (so far we`re not having much in my neck of the woods, I wouldn`t even think about going in mine without a drysuit!

    a great workout is to make a "whirlpool" by going as fast as you can in one direction, then turn around and go against the current, making the whirlpool reverse itself, then you turn around and go the other way again. Tiring and effective!
