in need of treadmill help, I having troubles reaching my peak I have increased my speed already. My pace went from 7:45 to 8:23 with the increase. How does that happen? It's over the same time frame.

This mathematically isn't possible. If you're speed has increased and you're travelling the same distance, the time taken to travel will be faster.

I think you need to review your times more accurately.

I used fit bit to track so idk they say if it's not positioned right on ur wrist it can be inaccurate n I do wear mine a bit loose so maybe that's what's goin on. Very disappointing after I increased n pushed my self n then my heart rate didn't increase n my pace was down not up. Thnx

That still doesn't get past the fact that it's mathematically impossible for you to travel the same distance at a faster pace in a slower amount of time. My feeling is that you recorded your first time in error.

Do u think it could have anything to do with stride length? But even then it's a treadmill it should be consistent shouldn't it? Today's weight day so Tom I'll try n get a better reading. But another person told be to increase incline instead of spead so I might try that instead.
