Anyone have a suggestions on a sync able device for this app that will count my calories?
Looking for something that will monitor my heart rate!
Thanks Brad

    Hang on a second

A HRM measures your heart rate..it is not a calorie burn counter except under specific circumstances which is steady state cardio eg running, rowing etc at a steady rate of intensity

If you're looking for something to monitor your general activity you might be best with a much cheaper step tracker, something like a fitbit one or fitbit zip (I wear a zip every day and only use my HRM at the gym and only then under specific workout routines)

If you'd like to know a little more about what HRMs are for there's an excellent, albeit very old, MFP blog post

Just get out there and do stuff and don't fret about the calorie burn. Your scale will tell you if you are getting it right.

That is very true!!! I like the picture "I run for beer"lol. I think that's why I'm stuck with a beer gut now. I just bought the Budweiser selects and man do they taste like water :)

I use the Microsoft Band, but as mentioned above these are not really good at your total daily calorie burn. You should use TDEE or something to really get your Base Rate, plus normal activity. I even set my calories based on 4-6 hours of weight lifting a week and just eat a flat amount. I don't try and bounce up and down for activity. It works really well for me.
