Why do you need to drink that much? Seems a lot.0

Drink a lot less.
Depending on what foods I am eating and how much I am sweating, I probably drink about four to seven 8-ounce cups of water each day.0 -

Drink less water, take scheduled bathroom break every 15-30 minutes and do kegels. See your doc, there are meds for this.0

What do you mean by accidents? Like it's leaking out and you cant control it, or if you're busting to go and you cant hold it in before getting to the toilet.
Personally if I really, really have to go, I hope and pray that I don't have to sneeze, because I know I'll lose a bitBut this only happens if I've been holding it in.

Even if you want to drink a lot of water every day, spread it out. You don't need to drink that much - a gallon of water is a LOT. Drink less, and try drinking only 8 ounces at a time. Wait and drink another 8 ounces a couple of hours later, then wait a couple of hours more. Give your body time to actually use the water you're drinking.
As far as the accidents, if your bladder is leaking, see your doctor. There are tests they can do to check the strength of the muscles around your bladder. If they are weak, there are a multitude of possibilities of treatments, from medications all the way to a pelvic sling. Until then, go and buy some Poise pads to absorb the leaks.
It is normal for women to have some loss of bladder control as they age, especially if they've had one or more episiotomies with giving birth.0 -
@harley79 that's a lot of water! You might be over-diluting your blood and all the salts and nutrients that it carries, and working your kidneys pretty hard. Why do you need to drink so much? If leakage is a problem, make sure you are going to the loo when you feel the urge, and also do some pelvic floor exercises to strengthen thing up for yourself
