Lightly active or sedentary?

So I know that when considering which lifestyle to chose we are choosing based on our job. Not exercise since we are adding that seperatelty..

My question is if my job would be considered lightly active.. I work at a daycare with 6 toddlers so it's a lot of chasing, picking up, going outside and so on. I work a normal 8 hour shift and I estimate I'm on my feet for at least half of the day.

Thanks in advance! Feel free to friend request me

That sounds like lightly active to me. Stick to it for 4-6 weeks and adjust if you're losing at a different rate than you expect.

I work with little kids too. I log lightly active, but I also live in NYC and do a fair amount of walking on top of work.

    Thanks guys!

I walk 3 miles a day on top of work but I log that separately.

See how that works. Your walking may end up fitting into the "lightly active". Your loss over the next couple of weeks will be telling. Then you can adjust if need be.

You're definitely lightly active (I'm also so jealous of your job!).
I'm sitting for 8 hours every day, so my TDEE is sooooooo low! :(

When in doubt go with sedentary.

It's just I was going with sedentary and I was feeling a little hungry and irritable. I guess I'll judge by this week what I should really go with. With sedentary I had 1360 calories with lightly active I get about 300 more calories. I don't really plan on eating all 300 but perhaps some on days I still feel hungry.
