Just looking for some advice from all the MFP peeps out there.

I'm a shift worker. I work 6 hours in the morning, have about 3-4 hours off starting at 11:30 and then I go back to work for 3:30. Should I go for a workout right after I'm done my morning and then eat lunch? Or should I eat lunch first, sit for a bit to digest and then go for a workout?

I would do your workout first thing, then have lunch. Just make sure you've had some sort of snack before your workout (around 10:30-11) so you can make it through the workout.

If you eat lunch, then you have to wait for it to settle.. in which you then risk that you will tire out and just decide not to work out (a.k.a. "nappy time" in my house :P).

True I guess! I usually eat breakfast around 530am, then have a snack around 900-930 ish. I have a high protein snack though. So maybe I will just wait til after my workout to eat lunch. Actually all my meals are high in protein
