    Welcome
My only advice is to log everything that you eat....you will be amazed at the amount of calories you "normally" ate!!

Try getting a FOOD SCALE, MEASURING CUPS and SPOONS

GET YOUR (5) 16oz BOTTLES OF WATER IN (or drink HALF your body weight in ounces)

Healthy Choice Complete meals, Jimmy Dean D-Lights, Lean Cuisine and Smart Ones (if you're on the go)

Here is a tip I learned on the Oprah show a few years back; get a lunch bag or box and put ALL of the foods
you are going to eat that day in Zip-lock bags or containers (make sure to count your calories) carry it with you to work
and eat away... You can eat without the GUILT because you know you are eating your daily caloric intake for the day. When
your lunch bag is empty YOU'RE DONE! All that is left is DINNER when you get home.

    Welcome and Good Luck:flowerforyou:

In addition to everything-- change your thought process-- don't "give this a go." That indicates, eh, if it doesn't work, I'll try something else.

This site is incredible-- make. it. work. You can do this. Log your food. Everything. Your coffee cream. As said before, you'll be amazed where your calories are coming from.

Exercise. And make friendships here-- the friends I've made here have changed my life. Accountability is key.

But, the first thing that jumped out is the "give it a go," stuff. Do or do not, my friend, there is no try.

Make this work for you. You'll feel soooooo empowered.

    You can do this.
  • Thank you all so much. I appreciate all the positive feedback.
