Drinking Water

So I was on the YouTubes and up on my feed popped up a motivational video about a woman in Australia who lost a lot of weight. In the video she describes all the steps she took to achieve her goal. She talks about drinking water and how by drinking more water you pee out fat. That sounded a little off to me so I did some research. While I found drinking water does help with weightloss I didn't read anywhere about peeing out fat. If any of you know anything about this please do tell

Doesn't happen. Or you better hope it isn't happening.0

No, that's no how fat loss happens. An overly simplified explanation -- when the body fat breaks down, it breaks down into what is essentially water and carbon dioxide. A calorie deficit that calls on you to tap into your fat stores for energy will precipitate this action, not drinking water. You'll breathe and pee out the waste products.0

"Excessive caloric consumption combined with a sedentary lifestyle cause triglycerides to be stored in fat tissue. When you eat less and exercise more, a hormone known as lipase begins breaking down stored fat. Tissues throughout the body, such as the muscle and liver, metabolize the previously stored fat through the citric acid cycle and electron transport chain. Byproducts from these metabolic reactions include carbon dioxide, water, heat, and adenosine triphosphate, or ATP. Carbon dioxide is exhaled from the lungs, water leaves as urine and perspiration, and heat helps maintain body temperature. The ATP produced is used throughout your body, from the moving muscles to organ function."

You don't pee out fat. That would just be weird...0 -
