New to Board age 55

Hi ladies since most of us seem to be female. Weighed myself for 1st time in weeks and I now weigh more than I did pregnant with preeclampsia - my son will be 14 next month. :-) my goal is to loose 1/2 to 1 per week. I need BMI below 35 to schedule partial knee replacement. No walking, yoga or squats for me. I am back to swimming which is cool when water is 70 while air temp is 55. The biggest weight I need to shed is my 155 pound husband. I ask myself "why weight?" But I know it is stuffing my feelings. Then he brings home Costco size boxes of Haagen Daz bars. How sweet. Not. My other goal is to go to sleep earlier. The last week it has been 11:30. I think around 11:15 would be ideal for me.
