Does anyone make their own yogurt?

I just ordered a automatic yogurt maker, and I am super excited about it. Does anyone do this? What are some options for flavoring the yogurt? Any helpful hints?

I make yoghurt in a vacuum food flask (Thermos). Eat it with berries and flaxseed.

    I make mine in a crockpot: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/cmeirun/view/homemade-yogurt-crockpot-version-539483

I leave it plain; I use it a lot in savoury dishes as well as just as a snack or part of a meal. For the latter, I flavour as I like when I eat it - usually I have chopped fruit, berries or chunks of frozen banana. Add-ins are usually cinnamon and/or vanilla extract, sometimes some chopped nuts. For something more like a "dessert", I add a couple of tbsp of unsweetened cocoa and a bit of sweetener - it comes out thick and rich and super-yum.
