im starting the 30DS (again)!
Does anyone know (roughly) how many calories are burnt? I know it's down to each individual but I don't have an activity tracker and want to log it in my exercise for the day
Thanks!

it depends on height/weight etc, I have a formula for calculating it...I'll just go and get the info and be right back0

Formula for working out calories burned
(30 day Shred/circuit training)
Got this formula in one of the forums but its a good one to have:
This was for working out how many calories you burn when doing circuit training/30 day shred
Multiply 3.267 x your weight (lbs) and that is how many calories burned in an hour.
30 Day Shred = 27 mins -: divide above figure by 3 since the warm up and cool down are considered exercise but not intense. I get only 153 calories burned but if I logged MFPs burn for same workout its 212!
Quite a difference!
OR just multiply your weight by 1.089 (3.267/3 = 1.089). It would give you the same thing
Hope this helps0 -
I don't
But don't do what I did when I did - which was think I didn't need sports shoes because it was inside
I really damaged my knees0 -

@katieboo93_ you're welcome
I have done the shred several times with fabulous success/inch loss each time - its a great way to fit a workout into the day if you are otherwise very busy.

I've wondered that too and just logged it as circuit training. That formula is very handy!0

Don't go by the generic formula... we all burn calories differently depending on the effort we put in. Even with the formula, I burned either less or more depending on how hard I pushed myself during 30DS... Some times, that formula was way off. A heart rate monitor is really the best way to go to get a close to accurate burn reading.
I love the shred...planning on doing it again after BR and Body shred!0
