I started my weightloss journey & lost over 30lbs a few years ago (got down to 159 in jan. 2013), then terribly lost my way. Now time to put an end to what has gotten out of control...being that I'm 7lbs away from where I started.

Ready to put in the work that I know I can do

You can do it - you know it because you already have! That's one thing I love about this site: it's always there to come back to No matter how far off track we get

I have been there before a couple times before. Lost 50lbs in 3 month doing the "fat smash diet". Then gained it back. Then in 2012 joined weight watchers and lost 55 lbs in 6 months. Kept it off for a while then gained it back again. I am taking another shot at losing 62lbs now with MFP. It's been 5 days and I am jut trying to stay motived and keeping my eye on the goal. It's a change of lifestyle not just to lose the weight.
You can do it just try to stay focused. Your welcome to add me for support.

Excellent to all! When you have a desire to do good for yourself you will achieve positive results. I have witnessed this in my effort. When I am in high gear its no problem. After a month or three, there seems to be a downshifting of sorts and motivation slows and old habits can tend to sneakily come back. I just had a short set back and put on four pounds. I knew I had to start back and log in daily to keep my mind on my goals and projected lifestyle changes. I'd like to share something I told my daughter thirteen years old, she has a tendency to gain weight. I said to her, say no to the first five food/drinks/snacks you are offered or want that are not healthy. After the five times its ok to have a small treat. Try not to treat daily and you won't feel deprived. She really liked the idea and I live by it to. Cheers to all of you with your successful choices
ps. Say no five time! see where it leads you....
