Looking Back Five Years

I started my fitness journey April 14, 2010. I was 83lbs, and had lived the past 11 years under the thumb of an eating disorder. I started the Insanity program with my mom.
I cannot believe how far I have come. I'm now a healthy, strong 134lbs. I deadlift over 300lbs. I can run a mile nonstop.
I have two jobs doing the two things I love most-my farm and my fitness.
Looking over my first Fit Test is so humbling. The numbers sucked-but by golly I did every move. And I remember I was so proud. If I could go back and tell myself how much my life was going to change for the better because of one program!
Insanity led to P90X-which taught me the basics of weightlifting. From there I learned powerlifting. That is where my passion lies-I love throwing huge weights around! I keep coming back to the programs that got me started-sometimes it's to remember why I am where I am today, other times it's to keep me humble (power jumps will do that to a person!)
Now, I want to help other people write their success stories too! Send me a friend request, shoot me a PM-I want to talk to YOU. I want you to know that you have someone in your corner, someone who has been at square one. Someone who learned about nutrition from scratch, because she had no knowledge to start with.
